Who are we?
As former students, we have made our goal to improve the conditions of student housing. We started in Brno, where we have currently operated a network of many building complexes for students and workers. And because we know that each of you wants and needs something different, our housing offer is as diverse as it is designed to meet the needs of all of you.
Why live in Chillhills apartments?
Our building complexes combine the advantages of living in a dormitory with private accommodation. You can choose from both rooms or entire apartments. We offer furnished or unfurnished apartments. It's up to you what you choose.
I want to stay for less than one year. Is that a problem?
The standard lease agreement is for 1 year. If you want to end your tenancy sooner, you need to terminate a contract. However, be aware of the 4 months notice period. If you want to move out immediately and not wait until your contract ends, you must pay the remaining rent or find someone who will replace you.
For those of you who want to rent a room or flat during (or just for) the summer holidays we have a great deal. You can rent a room or apartment for the months of your choice only with half the deposit.
How do I book a room or whole apartment?
Choose which apartment complex suits you the best and make a no-obligation reservation from the comfort of your home. Our manager will contact you to arrange the details. If you are looking for accommodation from the date your school starts, don't worry, you can book your apartment in advance.
What about the deposit?
This is the equivalent of one month's rent and must be paid when the contract is signed. The deposit is refundable.
When you rent a room or apartment for the summer, you only pay half!
When can I get and check information about contracts, payments and any updates?
When you sign a rental agreement, you become a client of Chillhills Apartments, and thus the owner of an account where you control everything. The "My Housing" app gives you a payment summary, online rent payment, a lease agreement, house rules and more.
What if something in the flat breaks down?
In the case of minor repairs (e.g. changing a light bulb, a blocked sink or a broken shower hose), you as a tenant pay for them up to CZK 3,000 per year. If you don't want to waste your time with minor repairs, just report it via our application. Fill the special form in the "My faults" and we will take care of everything. You can also report major faults via the same form. To report emergency breakdowns, call +420 724 984 835.
What should I do if I forget my password?
For these cases, you can use the "Forgot your password?" tab. in the "Login" section. After you put in your email address, a link will be sent to your email to enter a new password for your account.
I want to move out of the apartment before the end of the contract. What should I do?
First, terminate the contract properly. The notice of termination is a formal request to let us know that you want to end the tenancy early. The notice period is 4 months according to the terms of the sublease. If you want to move out early, you must complete the remaining rent or find a replacement. We will be happy to help you find a replacement, just let us know in time.
